Aluminium offers a lot of advantages, whether your particular field is new-build or renovation. Our Aluminium Systems are able to offer a durable, stylish, colourful and environmentally-friendly solution to your design requirement.
We can offer a wide range of profiles and systems. Choose from varying levels of insulation, a rich palette of colours and various aesthetic styles. There are lots of opportunities to mix and match.
Aluminium is the ecologically-sound and safe solution.
Aluminium is very low-maintenance.
That's why aluminium is always the sensible option
Easy to insulate
Aluminium profiles are easy to insulate, although the process does require special technology. At JSP Aluminium we have the expertise to insulate profiles ourselves.
There are two methods of insulation:
Using the first technique, the profiles comprise two half-plates. These are joined mechanically with glass-fibre reinforced insulating polyamide strips. This makes it possible to choose one colour on the inside and another on the outside.
The second technique uses a polyurethane thermal bridge (PUR), that separates the inside and outside parts of the window.
To indicate a profile's level of thermal insulation, the construction industry uses the heat transmission coefficient or U-value. The lower the U-value, the better the insulation.
400 RAL colours
JSP Aluminium Ltd offers a wide range of colours. Choose from 400 RAL colours in matt, gloss, metallic, pastel tints and various anodised tints.
In the event of insulation with polyamide strips the profile comprises two half-plates that can be coloured separately. This makes it possible to choose one colour on the inside and another on the outside.
Lacquering
First of all the profiles are degreased, cleaned, chromated and dried. Subsequently, a 60-micron powder layer is introduced under electrostatic pressure. The profiles then go into the kiln at 190°C to bake the powder into the profile. This ensures a strong layer of lacquering. The lacquering of aluminium profiles and accessories always complies with Qualicoat regulations.
In the event of anodisation the original structure of the aluminium remains visible. The profiles are submerged in a chemical bath where artificial oxidation occurs. In this way the pores of the profiles are teased open. The profiles are then coloured in a bath of metal oxide. To finish, the pores are re-closed in a special steam bath. For the anodisation of aluminium profiles and accessories always complies with Qualanod regulations.
The quality of lacquered and anodised profiles is the same and both are suitable for aggressive environments, such as swimming baths and coastal areas, thanks to their special surface treatment.
Aluminium: 100% recyclable
Aluminium is 100% recyclable, without any impairment of quality. Recycling demands only 5% of the energy needed to produce new aluminium.
That's why JSP Aluminium Ltd Aluminium is so enthusiastic about aluminium recycling. Right now 60% of the aluminium used in the world is recycled.
65% of the electricity needed to produce new aluminium is white electricity, generated by hydroelectric power stations.
Beauty and security in one material
Aluminium windows and doors are very secure. The basic material is extremely hard and resistant to warping. If you need extra security, you can always add extra burglar protection or a bullet-proof system.
Extra burglar protection.
For the private market we recommend Saflex Inside®. Here, safety glass is used in what is called a sandwich structure, where four layers of PVB (a synthetic material) are held between 2 layers of glass. Saflex Inside® requires the use of specially adapted security profiles and accessories.
There is a variety of different security levels available to suit your requirements. All security levels meet European stipulations.
Bullet-proof system
This is a patented system, whereby an extra frame is screwed onto the profile to make it bullet-proof. Both classes meet European stipulations.
