SPECIFICATION

MATERIALS

All aluminium sections are extruded from aluminium alloy HE9TF complying with the recommendations of B. S. 1474:1972

The relevant profiles have been thermally broken by filling a purpose designed cavity within the extrusion with liquid polyurethane high strength resin. After curing, the aluminium bridge is removed by high speed saw, with the resultant internal and external walls of the section being isolated from each other.

FINISH

All sections are available in Powder Paint white or brown, powder coated to B.S.6496:1984 and Satin Anodised to B.S. 1615 grade AA25

FITTINGS

High quality furniture is used throughout including as standard a multi-point lock with key operated profile cylinder and stainless steel tandem rollers running on a stainless steel track insert

WEATIJERSEALS

Panels seal against double high quality polypropylene weather-stripping inserted into the outerframe.

GLAZING

Doors can be single glazed in 6mm glass or double glazed in 20mm, 24mm or 24.8mm sealed units. Glazing is achievd by knocking the profiles over the glass/wrap around gasket

PERFORMANCE

Water and weatherproofing to B.S.6375 has been achieved.

PRODUCT RANGE

Timber fix and Direct fix outerframe options are avaiable. The sliding panel moves on the external side of the door.
